As an expert in the field, Tom's exercise programmes are underpinned by an evidence-based approach, following Sport and Exercise Science principles, the latest research and guidance from clinical bodies such as the British Association for Cardiovascular Prevention and Rehabilitation (BACPR) and Rehabilitation (BACPR) and the Wright Foundation for Cancer Rehabilitation. Tom prides himself on his meticulous approach. To create a completely bespoke programme, tailored to your specific individual needs, firstly Tom holds an initial consultation with you to thoroughly understand your clinical history, current health and fitness and to establish your goals for their programme. Tom then devises a safe and effective exercise programme that works towards your goals and takes into account your diagnosis, treatment cycles, medications and side-effects. Your programme is adapted throughout its course to ensure the optimal physiological outcomes are achieved to progress you towards your physiological goals. Tom's work extends beyond the exercise sessions, with Tom on-hand to provide advice and support remotely as well as providing a holistic approach by helping to create a training and recovery schedule, providing advice and analysis on nutritional choices and monitoring physical activity levels and recovery. At regular intervals, Tom assesses your health and fitness markers and reviews the progress made with you before using the data to help to adjust his prescription for your exercise programme. Tom accepts self-referrals and referrals from your medical team, with whom he can communicate with, and provide regular reports to, throughout your programme. All exercise programmes are able to be followed remotely with the app, with the possibility to add video training sessions if you require, allowing you to structure your programme in a way that best suits you. Being remotely delivered, programmes are accessible to, and are followed by, individuals all over the world and provide the flexibility required by those who travel frequently to be able to adhere to their programme wherever they may be.
Simply connect your Fitbit devices or Apple Health with the app to automatically provide data related to your physical activity and exercise such as your step count, to allow your performance and progress to be easily monitored. The check-in feature allows your progress towards your physiological goals to be tracked, such as improving your body composition.
